What Is a Powerflush?
A powerflush is a deep-cleaning process that removes sludge, rust and debris from your central heating system. Over time, the water inside your radiators and pipes reacts with metal components, creating a black sludge known as magnetite. This sludge builds up and blocks the flow of water, meaning your boiler has to work much harder to heat your home. A powerflush uses a specialised pump and cleaning chemicals to force this debris out of your system, leaving your radiators and pipework clean and clear.
